Public artist need for the GMED spaces at Turriff Hospital

ARCHIE: Turriff Community Hospital Public Art

ARCHIE is looking to commission an experienced artist for Turriff Hospital to create new works for the GMED area of the hospital. The artist will need to be someone who works closely with people within their own public art practice or has the ability to create artistic consultation sessions. An interest in arts and wellbeing and the role it can play in the recovery process would be an advantage. The artist will also need a track record in managing the fabrication and creation of permanent pieces of public art. The project’s main aim is create permanent artistic interventions which enhance the chosen spaces within GMED for all the users and welcomes younger people.

Fee £10,000
Deadline: 30th October 2009
