The Final Portfolio of Arthur Goodwin, 1922-1998

This exhibition at Duff House of watercolours, discovered in an attic after Arthur Goodwin's death, is a celebration of the last decade of the accomplished and internationally reputed artist's 50 year career. The exhibition runs 12 September - 6 December '09.

Two one-off events are planned in October and November to give an added insight into Goodwin's life and work. 'The Big Reveal' will showcase an early piece of Arthur''s work as well as a selection of sketch books that will be on public display for the first time. 'Together, to form the whole' will explore the parallel roles for Goodwin of mosaic and paint. Numbers are limited to both events and entry is by advance booking.
